The Deaconess volunteers play an important role in helping fulfill the hospital's mission of providing compassionate and personalized patient care to the Cincinnati community. The volunteers are a special group of people who willingly share their time and talents.

Currently, there are more than 80 volunteer positions. Check and see if one would match your skill and interests. • Clerical assistant in various hospital departments
• Food Service assistant - help patients with menu selections
• Activities assistant for the Older Adult Mental Health Program
• Waiting room receptionist
• Physical Therapy aide
• Craft group - make small gifts for patients
• Patient transporter
• Mailing support for Marketing
