Team Approach

A team of experienced professionals offers patients a wide range of therapeutic choices. The team includes psychiatrists, medical physician consultants, licensed psychiatric nurses, licensed clinical social workers, certified therapeutic recreational specialist, recreational therapy assistants, and certified nursing assistants. Additional consultative services are available from physical, occupational, and speech therapists; dieticians; and physician specialists.

Team assessments identify and treat multiple needs and conditions. An individualized treatment plan is developed upon admission. Weekly treatment team meetings with the admitting psychiatrist are held to gauge the patient's progress with treatment and to plan for any newly identified needs.

All clients are assigned to a primary therapist who will assess the individual's needs and develop the treatment plan. The therapist works closely with the psychiatrist and the patient's primary care
physician to assure continuity of care.
